Purchased at the local foreign currency shop Beryozka - Birch in Moscow during the early 1960s when stationed in the former Soviet Union.
This is a set of two with different designs.
One of the Otama has some paint peeling. (See the 11th photo)
They are heat-resistant and are still used today as practical kitchen tools.
They are also popular as interior decorations or antique ornaments.
